a bit about me.

I was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, where I grew up as a national-level gymnast before my relocation to Vancouver to pursue a university basketball career. During my time at Simon Fraser University, I proudly represented the SFU women's basketball team for four years and competed in the NCAA.

After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Finance, I delved into the world of contemporary dance at Modus Operandi Training Program.  Over the years, I had the privilege of collaborating and internationally touring work by Canada’s leading contemporary performance artists.

Driven by a passion for immersive spaces and site-specific installations, in 2016, I co-founded Boombox - an alternative performance space built within a semi-truck trailer. This alternative underground platform has served as a creative haven for over fifty multi-generational artists, showcasing their art in diverse and captivating presentations.

During the challenging times brought on by the pandemic within the performing arts community, I seized the opportunity to explore a new path. My curiosity led me to Northeastern University, where I began a Master's in Computer Science. The exploration of technology and artistry struck a chord, igniting a profound interest in this exciting intersection.

Since graduation, I have had the pleasure of diving into the technical arena of machine learning tools for 3D artists. This space is exciting, fast-paced, and challenging and I am eager to be a part of its growth and push to empower artists to create their best work yet.
